Top Seed Companies to Track: Themis, Superjoi, SellX
Our Investor Nicolas von Blottnitz shares the top seeded companies to keep an eye on this week.

We see about 5,000 startups each week, and I want to give you a glimpse into how we at Headline think about trending tech companies and tracking new investment opportunities. In this post, I’m highlighting top tech companies that have announced or raised a seed round within the past week.
Themis

EVA Growth Index:
No external sources showing growth
Product:
Compliance collaboration tool to help companies accelerate partnerships with vendors, banks and fintechs
Lead Investors:
TTV Capital
Total Raised:
$9M
Comparables:
N/A
My Thoughts:
As software starts solving more valuable, complex, and consequently regulatory heavy issues, it is key to have a solution like Themis to drive the implementation of key building blocks of these solutions. I see this going far beyond just fintech into the long-term.
Superjoi

EVA Growth Index:
No external sources showing growth
Product:
Funding platform that lets fans financially back/support their favorite creators and earn exclusive access or rewards in return.
Lead Investors:
Ascension
Total Raised:
$3M
Comparables:
Patreon
My Thoughts:
As content creation becomes increasingly fragmented it only makes sense to me that the funding of these creators fragments as well to the end consumer/fan. SuperJoi could become the funding platform for modern content which definitely makes it one to watch.
SellX

EVA Growth Index:
No external sources showing growth
Product:
On-demand sales development team as a service
Lead Investors:
GroundUp, State of Mind Ventures
Total Raised:
$2M
Comparables:
Pilot
My Thoughts:
Being a best-in-class SDR is 90% the traits/skills of being SDR and 10% knowing the product that you sell. It, therefore, makes a ton of sense to me to centralize the SDR part and provide this as an on-demand service — smart!
